How to have EXTRA energy for Valentines' day

Good Food - more energy - more sparkle for love

This Valentines' day do you want to feel full of vitality, refreshed and ready for action?

"The higher your energy level, the more efficient your body. The more efficient your body, the better you feel and the more you will use your talent to produce outstanding results." Anthony Robbins, life coach and motivational speaker

Yet according to ‘my.nutrition.co.uk’ a shocking 76% of 22,000 people stated they are often tired.

Adults with high work pressure and family commitments who find time is in short supply have elevated demands for more energy.

Extra Energy is vital energy to survive the pressures of today’s lifestyles. It is what our bodies need to restore and regenerate. And it's not only for Valentine's day, but for work and to enjoy life.

There are a few common challenges people face with having real energy and ulitmate health:

  • Lack of awareness of the connection between what you eat and the long term benefits of health and vitality.
  • No plan for eating well and choosing the right foods
  • Lack of nutritional knowledge, expert advice or clear information from a trusted source
  • A non-supportive environment
  • A negative mindset towards eating well

By realising the impact of these challenges, you can begin to understand why they are holding you back from acheiving that all important goal.

Covering each one is out of the remit of this blog - you'd be reading for a while and I'd be writing for days, but 5 key steps you can take now, will set you on the right foot for increasing those energy levels and improving your health.

  • Consciously choose food for it's value on what it can do for your body. Certain foods have essential vitamins and minerals to give the body vital energy.
  • Choose 4-5 nutritious breakfasts that include fruit such as berries, protein such as eggs or yoghurt and carbs with fibre such as sugar free muesli. You can then rotate your list of breakfasts and know what you will eat each day to avoid the rushing out the door with a quick coffee syndrome.
  • Consider finding a recommended nutritionist who can advise you, put a plan into place and help hold you accountable.
  • Hang out with friends and family members who support you in goal to eat well
  • Address any fears, 'internal' self talk and 'can'ts'. Whether you can or can't in your own mind, it's your mind that determines whether or not you want to acheive it!

"After suffering all my life with a digestive discomfort, I had grown to live with my symptoms, accepting that feeling dreadful in the morning was something I would just have to live with. I now look and feel 100 times better and I wouldn’t have it any other way. A very big and emotional thank you!" Lorraine Wragg, company director

My seminars give the practice tools, advice and plan to overcome all the challenges people face with eating well.
